I qualified as a Registered Nurse from Glasgow's Southern General Hospital in 1992. I have worked for many years in a busy Accident and Emergency department where I have progressed to a senior position. In 2002 I obtained BSc in A&E nursing and then became an emergency nurse practitioner in 2005. I trained to become an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner because I believe helping people make the most of their looks can have a very positive impact on their lives. I am able to keep fully up to date with the best products, the safest techniques and any changes within the industry. I am now a fully trained Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner and also trained under the guidance of cosmetology UK and now specialise in Botox and Dermal fillers. I have since then completed an advanced course and can now add Agera chemical skin peels, hyperhydrosis as well as lip augmentation to my skills after training from Medical Direct. We offer free consultations, safe and effective treatment and a comprehensive aftercare service. We have thoroughly enjoyed our experience in Aesthetic Medicine but always remain realistic and honest with our clients. Aesthetic Medicine is not without risks and the results expected need to be realistic before any procedure is done. I’m originally from Co. Kerry, Ireland. I studied in University College Cork between 1992 and 1998 gaining my MB. Subsequent to this I worked in 3 Glasgow hospitals before gaining my membership of the Royal College Of General Practitioners UK in 2003. I am now a General Practitioner working in Glasgow. I met Elaine in 2001 whilst working together in accident and emergency in the Southern General Hospital. For years we debated the pros and cons of Aesthetic Medicine and finally in July 2008 we together completed training in Botox/Vistabel treatments as well as facial filler treatments under the careful guidance of Cosmetology UK. Subsequently I have now completed an advanced course in botox and dermal fillers as well as chemical skin peels via Medics Direct. |
